Preserve Unique Memories with Disposable Wedding Cameras
As far as the quality of pictures is concerned, a disposable wedding camera will never replace a professional photographer. However, if you are trying to save money and produce memorable fun for you and your guests, these cameras can be a great idea.

Disposable wedding cameras are single-use cameras. As far as the quality of their pictures is concerned, they will never replace a professional photographer. However, if you are trying to save money on the photo budget and produce memorable fun for you and your guests, celebration cameras can be a great idea.

Disposable wedding cameras are also popular wedding favors at receptions. You can place them on each guest table and encourage guests to use them throughout the reception in order to capture moments that the professional photographer might miss. These celebration cameras also prove to be a wonderful and fun activity for family and friends. Just make sure that you place notes around the tables telling people how to use them and to leave them behind when they go.

Generally, professional photographers spend a lot of their time orchestrating beautiful pictures of the wedding party and family, thus missing many things taking place during the reception. Guests can use these cameras just like any other camera by simply pointing and shooting. Many couples admit that most of their favorite wedding photos are those taken with the disposables, by friends and family.

You can choose from a great variety of celebration cameras. Disposable wedding cameras are available in many styles, thus you do not need to worry if you have a special wedding theme. Kodak, Fuji, or AGFA film offer the most popular models - with 15 or 27 exposures. It is recommended that you get the 24-exposures cameras, as you will have more pictures to select from for your wedding album.

A very popular choice for disposable wedding cameras is the type that includes several different backgrounds, meaning that the pictures will have a nice background when developed. For instance, you can choose as a background a wedding cake with a set of toasting glasses and the word 'Wedding' appearing vertically on the left side. Typically, such disposable wedding cameras also include courtesy decorative cards meant to be placed on the tables.

Many people may say that these cameras are old fashioned, and that in the world of digital photography we live in today, they are useless. However, celebration cameras are still being sought after and represent quite an attraction at most weddings. The guests feel that they are more involved in the event, and they try their best knowing that their photos will be a part of the wedding album.

It is recommended, however, that you ask certain people to take the shots or at least make sure that the wedding cameras will not end up in children's hands - who are more likely to picture their feet rather than the guests.

Couples generally appoint someone to collect the celebration cameras before people start to leave, or they may even provide baskets into which people can drop them. Usually, a friend will take care of getting the films developed by the time the newlyweds come back from their honeymoon. Later, you can choose to scan the best pictures and post them on a website for everyone to see.
